Tech Tips and Tricks

Page history last edited by Gabrielle M. Casieri 13 years, 8 months ago

I bet you didn't realize how many tech skills would be needed in library school, did you?

Never fear, is here!!  Starting a new program can be overwhelming, and while we try to give you some tools at our technology bootcamps, we realize you might not remember them all.  If you need help with a technology issue, you can always review our bootcamp presentations, which are available on our website.  Our presentations are hosted on SlideShare, so you don't need to have PowerPoint on your machine to view them.

Sometimes, a slideshow is not enough, and you need someone to walk you through a process.  You've come to the right place!  The links below should open in a new window and provide tech tips and tricks for everyone.  If in doubt, contact the RU New Brunswick Computing Services Help Desk.  I promise you, the technicians there are really helpful.  Now, on to the tips and tricks...

Mandatory for New Students

  • Not sure if you've done everything you're supposed to do as you start the program?  Check the 501 coursepack!
